SightPlan is a leading multifamily service management provider with solutions trusted by owners and operators represented nationwide. We’re currently seeking a Vice President of Sales who is committed to expanding SightPlan’s business opportunities and growing revenue. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing development programs that will meet pre-determined targets and increase our market share.

Success in the role will be defined by the ability to identify, close, and scale the best customer opportunities. This is a cross functional position that will require close collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Account Management.

We’re looking for a top performer to drive our West territory sales efforts and expand our market share. Our ideal candidate is strategic, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales goals. The West sales territory includes the following states: WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, CO, UT, and AZ. Ideally, the VP – Sales West will be located within the territory they oversee.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee and expand market share within WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, CO, UT, and AZ.
  • Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and marketing data.
  • Develop an operating budget for the sales division that meets business goals.
  • Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals.
  • Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts.
  • Travel to and represent SightPlan at industry events and trade shows up to 25% of time.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum five years’ experience in sales.
  • Previous experience in senior sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Multi-family property management industry-related experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to staff members at every level of the organization.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts.
  • Solution selling experience preferred.
