August 12, 2020 – SightPlan®, a leader in multifamily service management, released the Back to Work video series to coincide with #APTeamsDay. The 15-episode series, hosted by SightPlan CEO Terry Danner and produced through a partnership with Grace Hill and HD Supply in cooperation with local National Apartment Association (NAA) affiliates, travels coast-to-coast to meet the unsung heroes in our industry and get a first-person perspective on the efforts that keep multifamily communities moving forward.
In Back to Work, Danner hits the road to shine a spotlight on those exemplary on-site associates and walk a mile in their shoes. Working alongside team members like maintenance technicians, leasing associates and property managers; Danner dives in to view things from their perspectives. The series delves into the devotion and dynamics required to successfully operate an apartment community, navigate a pandemic and maintain high levels of service for residents and prospects.
“Throughout my 30-year career in multifamily, I thought I had just about seen and done it all,” Danner said. “But the industry keeps changing and the coronavirus pandemic is new territory for everyone. I have always recognized the importance of the front-line work conducted daily by onsite teams, but they’re leaned on more now, than ever. Fortunately, those teams continually rise to the occasion, finding new ways to conduct day-to-day operations, re-establish best practices and adapt to the new and evolving needs of residents. In Back to Work, we’re taking time to celebrate some of the individual associates whose efforts have taken their teams to the next level. It has been an honor to work alongside them, even for just a day.”
“The demands on rental housing on-site teams never lets up, so the National Apartment Association is pleased that SightPlan is highlighting their work,” said Robert Pinnegar, CAE, President and CEO of the National Apartment Association. “These essential employees who have always been such integral components of on-site operations never stopped working, and they continue to make a positive difference in the lives of residents.”
